Well I can’t say the water came in epic proportions, but I can say it came in annoying proportions. Ultimately, any amount of water where it doesn’t belong is obnoxious.

This weekend we removed 6 inches of water from our crawl space and then dug a trench in the back yard to convince the river coming off the mountain behind us to flow around the house instead of thru it.

I’m too tired to write about it now AND I still have to de-mud the house. So I’ll let the pictures speak for themselves.

Our Fantastic Fall

Autumn always brings to mind long walks through falling leaves and evenings spent by the fire, sipping hot cocoa. Peaceful days and cozy nights.

Fall is such a busy time for us! As the temps starts falling we go into overdrive, trying to soak up as must sunshine as we can.

We always do our best hikes in the Fall.
